Help Rebuild Sri Lanka

Supporting the resilient communities of Sri Lanka in recovering and rebuilding after the devastation of Cyclone Ditwah

Our Charity

The Sri Lanka Cyclone Ditwah Recovery Fund was born from a simple belief shared among a group of friends: that the people of Sri Lanka would need the support for many years to rebuild. Inspired by the outpouring of early relief, we set our sights on what comes next, the schools that need rebuilding, the medical care that must keep flowing, and the quiet, unglamorous work of helping communities find their footing again. We don't work alone. We place our trust in Sri Lankan NGOs and government bodies.

With proven records of integrity and reach and organisations already embedded in the communities we care about. Because accountability isn't just a principle for us, it's the foundation everything else is built on. Every donation flows through hands we trust, toward futures we believe in. We’ll be documenting the entire process to ensure our sponsors and donors are kept in the loop of where their support is being provided. Stay turned as we’re only just getting started.

The Mission to Rebuild Sri Lanka

The Sri Lanka Cyclone Ditwah Recovery Fund is a community-led initiative bridging the gap between tragedy and transformation. We are committed to the long-term restoration of critical educational and medical infrastructure.

Our Inaugural Fundraising Dinner

The journey toward restoration began with a remarkable inaugural evening in Sydney. This first fundraising dinner brought together a compassionate community, sparking a powerful movement of solidarity to support those affected by Cyclone Ditwah. We welcomed 150 attendees, with support from 6 generous sponsors who made monetary donations and 14 in-kind partners who contributed their services to make the evening a huge success. It was an evening defined by stories of resilience and a shared commitment to long-term recovery.
